Marriage registrations [microform] : Barron County. 1869-1907.

Description: Records of marriages recorded with the Barron County Register of Deeds and forwarded to the Wisconsin Secretary of State. These records were later transferred to the State Bureau of Health Statistics. Generally recorded for each marriage are the individuals' names and birthplaces, the names of the parents of each, the occupation and residence of the husband, the date and place of marriage, the kind of ceremony (usually the denomination), the names of witnesses, the name and residence of the person pronouncing marriage, the date of the certificate of affidavit, the date of registration, and remarks. This is part of a statewide series called Marriage Registrations, 1836-1907 (Series 2073, Reels 5-7), which is at the Library of the State Historical Society of Wisconsin. The Genealogical Society of Utah holds the master negative.
